The week’s doodle page. Doodles accumulate on stray paper.
This may be a running post (or for however long the sketchpad lasts).My favorites here are: the one-eyed guy with some eye-wear goggle thing, the sketchy glasses on the floating head. I think I’ve seen that cat in the back before too. Oh, and the assortment of rolling, clumped-together spheres on the bottom right… playing with perspective a bit (never mind the craters - no planning, just craters).

Just for fun, doodled a few mermaids looking at reference. This one popped up as the candidate, so I gave it a bit of a treatment. It may not be completely original, but I enjoyed the sit-down-and-draw moment thoroughly. My captive audience (at home) liked it.
Recent coloring took place, involving mostly my daughter’s choice of markers. Nice eh?
